BRIDGE Yin Pose of the Week: Seated Supported Connection

Insight:
Support is not always something we need to search for. It is often already present, waiting for us to lean into it.
Purpose:
To create a felt sense of safety through connection, allowing the body to soften and the mind to settle.
Outcome / Benefit:
A regulated nervous system, a grounded heart space, and a deeper trust in both giving and receiving support.
How to Prepare:
Choose a quiet space.
Sit on a pillow or soft surface.
Invite someone you trust to join you.
Allow this to be uninterrupted for 3 minutes.
The Practice
Sit comfortably with legs crossed.
One person sits in the front, the other directly behind, both facing the same direction.
Wrap your
arms around one another, as if you are gently hugging yourself.
Close your eyes.
Lean back and allow the support to be fully received.
Breathe in…
and together, release with a soft “ahhh.”
Find a natural rhythm.
Inhale…
ahhh…
Let the sound soften the body.
Let the rhythm steady the mind.
Feel the support.
Feel the connection.
