Bound Angle Pose is a seated posture of grounded openness. Traditionally known as Baddha Konasana, it symbolizes connection-where rooted stability allows the heart to unfold.
How to Prepare
Sit tall with the soles of your feet together and knees dropping out to the sides.
Rest your hands on your feet or over your heart and belly.
Inhale to lengthen the spine; exhale to soften the shoulders.
Option to fold forward, allowing the back to round slightly for introspection.
Time Stay 3-5 minutes upright for meditation, or fold forward for a deeper release.
Use props - a blanket beneath the hips or cushions under the knees - so the posture feels supportive, never strained.
