A BRIDGE Demonstration
Mind Body Integration in Action
Demonstration: Supported Malasana
Target Areas: hips, lower back, jaw, nervous system
Support Needed: yoga block or stacked books, optional blanket
How to Enter:
Step your feet slightly wider than hips with toes turned out.
Lower into a supported squat and allow your seat to rest fully on the support beneath you.
Bring hands to heart or rest them forward with ease.
Let the breath arrive naturally.
Sensory Cues:
Notice where the body settles first.
Notice where steadiness arrives without effort.
There is nothing to correct or achieve.
Time:
2 to 4 minutes
This demonstration
is not about depth.
It is about trust.
What This Teaches Us
Belonging begins in the body.
When the body feels supported, participation becomes natural. Expression steadies. Decisions feel cleaner. Energy stops scattering.
This is why THE BRIDGE teaches
through demonstration rather than explanation alone. Change does not need to be forced to be real. It becomes real when the body feels safe enough to participate.
We build our journeys through these small, intentional moments.
BRIDGE Nourishment: ☕️
Supporting the Body Through Choice
Nourishment inside THE BRIDGE is not about rules or optimization.
It is about choosing what supports steadiness, clarity, and energy without overwhelm.
As the body grounds, nourishment follows the same principle.
Root and Heart Stew
How to Prepare:
Simmer diced beets, carrots, and sweet potato in vegetable broth until tender.
Add leafy greens and allow them to soften gently.
Finish with olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper.
Optional fresh parsley or lemon.
Why It Supports You:
Warm foods signal safety to the nervous system.
Root vegetables provide grounding and steadiness.
Greens support openness and circulation.
Olive oil offers calm, sustained energy.
Eat slowly. Let nourishment land before the mind engages.
This is
nourishment as regulation.
This is nourishment as education.
Choice guided by awareness.
This is nourishment as education.
Choice informed by awareness.

Demonstrating Positive Action
Connection is one of the simplest ways learning becomes real. A thoughtful note or card grounds both the sender and the receiver and extends presence beyond the moment.
If
someone came to mind while reading this, consider reaching out in a tangible way.

Connection Matters
Learning deepens when it is shared.
If this grounded you today, revisit it later this week. Let it remind you that your pace is valid and your choices matter.
If it feels aligned, pass it along to someone who may need steadiness right now. Simple connection is one of the most meaningful forms of positive action.
