Dreamer’s Seated Forward Fold
Theme
Anchoring Rest & Renewed Curiosity
Chakra Focus
Third Eye (Ajna) for insight; Heart (Anahata) for gentle
openness
Who This Pose Serves
Shy Introverts: A safe container for daydreaming and gentle self-reflection
- Quiet Introverts: A pause to restore emotional fuel and clarity
- Loud Introverts: A moment to soften intensity and allow creative renewal
How to Prepare
Sit on a folded blanket with legs extended or crossed
- Let the spine lengthen gently, then fold forward, letting the head rest on a bolster, pillow, or stacked hands
- Close your eyes or soften your gaze
- Optional: Play a soft chime or bell in the key of D to anchor the experience
Sensory Cues
Let the breath be
slow and unhurried. With each inhale, invite the feeling of renewal. With each exhale, release the urge to rush
Silent Inquiry
When was the last time I felt deeply rested? Can I bring that sensation into this moment, and let it fuel my curiosity?

This Week’s
Nourishment
Golden Turmeric and Ginger Receiving Tonic
This week’s nourishment mirrors the demonstration.
Warming. Grounding. Supportive without asking anything from you.
Turmeric and ginger work quietly in the
background. Warm one mug of water or unsweetened plant milk.
Add
• ½ teaspoon ground turmeric or fresh grated turmeric
• ½ teaspoon fresh grated ginger or ginger powder
• A pinch of black pepper to activate turmeric
• Optional raw honey or maple syrup to taste
• Optional squeeze of lemon if your system tolerates citrus
Stir slowly. Drink warm.
Why It Supports You
When the body is invited to receive, digestion and assimilation matter.
This tonic supports the nervous system and gut so the body can soften, rest, and absorb.
Invitation
Sip without distraction.
Notice warmth spreading through the chest and belly.
Let this be supportive rather than corrective.
Return to this tonic after your Yin practice or in the evening when the day has asked enough of you.
Let it become a signal to the body that effort is no longer required.
This is nourishment as education.
Choice informed by awareness.
