This is the power of the mind-body connection in action, and it’s available to us in every meeting, every conversation, every single time we choose to stand up and share.
🌉 Standing Practice for
Presence
This week, I invite you to explore a simple yet powerful practice before your next presentation or important conversation:
- Find Your Ground: Stand with your feet hip-width apart. Notice the contact between your feet and the floor. Root down through all four corners of each foot.
- Lengthen Your Spine: Gently draw your shoulders back and imagine a string lifting the crown of your head. Allow your arms to relax by your
sides.
- Connect with Your Breath: Inhale slowly through your nose, feeling your belly expand. Exhale softly, letting tension melt down through your feet.
- Set an Intention: Silently affirm, “I am grounded. I am present. I am enough.”
- Notice: What shifts in your mind and body as you stand this way? How does your energy change?
This practice isn’t about perfect posture or performance—it’s about tuning
